Phew! We made it through a fun-filled day of baby shower prep, eating the most awesome cake EVER, watching Emily and Matt open some wonderful gifts, eating a chocolate cake with blueberry cream filling, playing a game of baby bingo, eating cake that made us feel like we had died and gone to Heaven, and oh by the way, did I mention that the cake was good? Not only was it good, but made by a friend and co-worker who will be farmhouse for her cakes and other sweets one day! Wanna see it? Ok, you talked me in to it....
Can you guess what the nursery theme is? Yup, farm animals! Can you believe the detail on those animals and that basket weave chocolate on the sides? Wowser! Please keep this lovely cake baking Madonna in your prayers as she undergoes some major surgery later this month to remove a malignant tumor on her sternum.Oh yeah, we really did have a baby shower today!
